Coleman Ad Attacks Franken and His 'Juicy Porn'

@ 10:58 am by Andy Barr

A new campaign ad from Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) hits his Democratic opponent, former comedian Al Franken, for all his "tasteless jokes" and for writing "all that juicy porn."

Franken has taken heat from Coleman's campaign throughout the race for using raunchy humor during his career as a stand up comedian that included a stint on "Saturday Night Live."

The ad features three bowlers talking about Franken's candidacy, the transcript is below the ad. Aaron Blake has the story.

Bowler: The guys and I have been talking. We've read all this stuff about Al Franken: Not paying taxes. Going without insurance for his employees. Foul-mouthed attacks on anyone he disagrees with. Tasteless, sexist jokes. Writing all that juicy porn. And we've decided were running for U.S. Senate. Why not? We're just as qualified as Al Franken, and were better bowlers.

  1. Al could always response with the Stuart Smalley "When your campaign has a bad day tactic", "I'm good enough, I'm thmart enough, and doggone it, people like me!!!"

Hey it made me laugh my keester off when he did it on SNL!!!

Maybe people will see it, laugh, and forget what a boob he really is…

  3. Al Franken is a bright and funny guy. And he also happens to be a heck of a bowler.

  4. One never outlives his past. Old sins never die they just hibernate.

  5. AL Franken will only hurt Minnesota as our Senator and voice in Washington. He will never be taken seriously and will therefore be extremely ineffective.
