New McCain Ad Backs Path to Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants

@ 10:02 am by Chris Good

A new John McCain ad backs offering a path to citizenship to illegal immigrants. In the ad, to air in Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico, McCain praises Hispanic citizens for serving in the U.S. military and enriching American culture.

The ad, which the campaign has entitled, "God's Children," tells viewers that a significant portion of U.S. veterans are Hispanic, and that Latin American immigrants "must come into country legally, but they have enriched our culture and our nation as every generation of immigrants before them."

McCain has recently promoted his stance on immigration, which is left of many in his party. McCain has touted a plan that "deal[s] practically and humanely with those who came here, as my distant ancestors did," providing a means for illegal immigrants to attain citizenship while also addressing issues of law enforcement and border security.

McCain has courted Hispanic voters aggressively as well: he has aired Spanish language radio ads in New Mexico, Nevada, Florida, all of which have significant Hispanic populations. One Spanish radio ad directly questioned Obama's commitment to Hispanic voters; another plugged free trade with Latin America.

  1. The Aliens who waited years for their turn at citizenship have also enriched our culture far more, than the ILLEGALS John McCain is pandering to. John McCain is a weak old man who WILL sell the american people out by granting AMNESTY to the ILLEGALS for the hispanic vote.

  4. What is wrong with Osamabama and McBush? Don't they listen to the AMERICAN PEOPLE? Close the borders, send them home and make them return the proper way. That is the law, wnforce it. Nothing more, nothing less. We have noone to vote for this November. We need Dr. Ron Paul to somehow get back in the race. Chuck Baldwin is a good choice. But he can't get any air time. Our will is being averted but all the special interests groups. There will be a rabellion if this doesn't stop.

  5. I think we should have more LESS with US Citzens and we need to sweep more Illegal Immigration to deport their countries because we have tooo many in USA and Enough is enough this time. If McCain let US Citzen then they will follow to move move move in USA and would damage our American's culture like Spanish or drop house and beg, problems and more crimes and more gangs, more etc. Feel-like we were in Mexico or others and not anymore in USA. I want to STAY only ONE Language (English) and stay with American;s Culture way and ONLY USA flag .. NOT Mexican flag. I am sick of Spanish on the adv or signs in Walmart and other store. Not right if they wanted citzen of USA then MUST learn English and MUST PAID for taxes and We do not want to add different languages like Spanish. Russian, Japanese, and more We need CLEAN USA. I know it is not good in USA anymore because Illegal Immigrations spoiled everywhere in USA. I am very disappointed and disgusted it . We need more LESSSSSSS now!
