Obama Willing to 'Refine' Concept of Withdrawal

@ 4:27 pm by Chris Good

Barack Obama says he is willing to "refine" his policies on withdrawing from Iraq after meeting with military commanders during his planned trip to Iraq later this month, The Caucus is reporting.

Obama has pledged to withdraw all combat troops from Iraq within 16 months of taking office, the plan outlined on his website.

"I’ve always said that the pace of withdrawal would be dictated by the safety and security of our troops and the need to maintain stability. That assessment has not changed,” Obama said today in North Dakota, according to The Caucus. "And when I go to Iraq and have a chance to talk to some of the commanders on the ground, I’m sure I’ll have more information and will continue to refine my policies."

Obama's campaign has planned a trip to Europe and the Middle East for mid-July, and many expect he will visit Iraq.

  2. Oh No….George Soros…is Obama going to back out now….oh no. While everyone is talking about McCain's dilemma with Conservatives…Obama Baby…has his own problems. He is the MOST Liberal member in the Senate…for his short stint and PROMISED IMMEDIATE WITHDRAWAL FROM IRAQ…which has been amended SEVERAL TIMES.

Does this not show that this man lacks judgment when it comes to opening his mouth? Or could it be that he will say and do anything to get elected. This is the "hope" and "change" he is bringing to D.C. It sounds like the S.O.S. packaged with a messiah complex.
