Obama Will Have 'Vigorous Response' Today to Bush's 'Appeasement' Remark

@ 12:00 pm by Andy Barr

Barack Obama foreign policy adviser Dr. Susan Rice vowed on MSNBC that Obama will offer a "very vigorous response" today to President Bush's comparison of those who want to talk with terrorists to Nazi appeasers.

"What you're going to hear is a very vigorous response to what was an outrageous, unprecedented, and divisive attack from President Bush yesterday," Rice said on the cable network.

Obama is speaking this afternoon.

  1. O'Bama is like a little flea…buzzing around the room trying to claim relevance. Bush was talking about that buck toothed peanut farmer who keeps interjecting himself into affairs he knows nothing about.

  2. As if Obama hadn't already given a "vigorous response." I'm tired of listening to him already.

  3. Look, Obama knows the remarks were not directed at him. But Obama has to attack the Republicans now that he has crushed Hillary. He has to turn his flank to face the Republicans and charge. And the weakest point in the Republican armor is Bush. He has to turn the election into a battle against Bush to make McCain seem like an insignificant spear carrier for Bush. If this election is Obama versus Bush, Obama will win. McCain is an inconsequential panderer, a man who would sell out his country, have us war (like Bush) indefinitely in countries all over the world while he imports every poor peasant he can find to keep wages down. McCain has already indicated he is afraid to attack Obama, so Obama is free to set the issues for the campaign, define the positions, and attack the easiest target–Bush–in order to win the election.

  4. You three are morons, Bush white house only said Bush was talking about Carter when one of the idiots woke up and realized what a stupid remark it was. Bush should have said when past Presidents get involved it can lead to problems and conflicting viewpoint from the U.S.. This is the same type of maneuvers that Rove used for years, lies distortions and fear mongering. If you love Bush so much go get a part time job at the ranch, oh wait you can’t all the illegal’s have the jobs. Well you can still enlist.

  5. What we can expect from the incompetent clown Obama this afternoon: More meaningless flatulence crafted to make it sound uplifting to the ignorant.
